Ethiopia's aspiration and commitment for development is best demonstrated through the unanimous support and contribution to the construction of the GERD. Ethiopia will not cave-in to aggressions of any kind, nor do we give recognition to a right that is entirely based on colonial treaties.

Amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, new health guidelines have been put in place for all travellers entering Ethiopia. Effective immediately, all travellers, over the age of ten, are required to provide a certificate of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test, taken no later than five days prior to arrival in Ethiopia.
