Resumption of the Tripartite Negotiations on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam
The Ministers of Water Affairs of Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan conducted the tripartite negotiation on the first filling and annual operation of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam for the second day. Ethiopia shared its position on the current tripartite discussion to the two downstream countries.

Prime Minister Abiy Launches 2020 Green Legacy tree-planting programme
Prime Minister Abiy launched the 2020 national Green Legacy tree-planting season by planting seedlings on Tabor Mountain in Hawassa. This rainy season, Ethiopia will plant 5 billion seedlings as part of efforts to curb the effects of climate change and deforestation.
